The aim is to organise a Congress which takes a neuro-affirmative, human-rights based approach to Autism and with the agenda taking a practical, evidence-based approach which aligns with the priorities of the community. As the host organisation, AsIAm was able to appoint the Scientific Committee which for the first time, has most Autistic experts and includes participants who are non-speaking or have an intellectual disability.
