Congress Theme

A theme for the congress was identified through a European wide consultative process, the first time such an inclusive approach was taken. Over 30 proposals were submitted and a shortlist of 3 were put to popular vote, with over 1,000 votes registered.  The theme selected in partnership with the community is:

“Quality of Life – Research, Policy and Practice”.

It is envisioned that the congress agenda will provide significant professional development opportunities for Autism research and practice in Ireland – with a large number of posters and speakers expected to be selected from Ireland and the opportunity for professionals working with Autistic people to access the event.
